To design a garden for a newly constructed house built on a very steep slope The Clients are a mature couple who do not have any children living at home. The style of the garden is one that is designed for easy maintenance and entertainment
The Site

The Design
The design is based on three levels. The highest, closest to the property is the largest and houses the dining area. For safety, this level is surrounded with a glass balustrade. The middle level is a seating area, intimate and private and is surrounded with scented plants in formal beds. The lowest level houses the hot tub which nestles neatly beside the garage which really utilises the space well. All planting is designed for low maintenance.
